Benson's Career as a Show PonyBenson has won many major awards during his show career, including Supreme Welsh Exhibit Sydney Royal, and Champion Welsh Stallion at Melbourne, Canberra and Bathurst Royals. He has been Champion Stallion at the NSW All Welsh Show and has also won at the Victorian All Welsh show. On top of this, Benson is also a Welsh Medal winner. At home, Benson is a pleasure to handle and a very gentle pony stallion, getting along well with all our ponies, he regularly minds young colts after weaning. He loves nothing more than to have a hug in the paddock! He is a true to type Welsh Mountain Pony with good bone, straight legs and spectacular movement. As far as pony stallions go, Benson combines all the desirable traits of movement, temperament, conformation and excellent bloodlines, making him the perfect choice as a stud stallion.
